Great wine requires a mad man to grow the vine, a wise man to watch over it, a lucid poet to make it, and a lover to drink it.

.02  Beauty

My career as a make-up artist started over 16 years ago in New York City as a college student looking for a part-time job. I started in retail cosmetics where I discovered my love for makeup. I was later fortunate enough to work in New York's Fashion Week with such designers such as Dennis Basso and assisted celebrity make-up artist, Cynde Watson, who was a great mentor and supporter.

A couple years into it, I decided I wanted to work in the  film and television industry. Working my tail off is an under estimate of what I had to go through. How about trying to do makeup on the back of the trunk in a car while it's snowing in the middle of Rockefeller Center at 3 a.m. with no lights....maybe car head lights? Like they say, what doesn't kill you, definitely makes you stronger.

After various television and film projects, I was finally admitted to the prestigious Local 798 Make-up and Hair Union in 2008 and have been a proud member since.

As a result of this, I have worked on many well-known projects such as Law and Order, 30 Rock, Boardwalk Empire, Vinyl. My latest pride and joy is a Netflix show called  "The Get Down" which was created and directed by Baz Luhrmann.

I have had the privilege of working with various celebrities, such as Brian Dennehy, Eddie Izzard, Michael J. Fox, Taye Diggs, Octavia Spencer, Holly Robinson Peete, Andi Macdowell, and many more.
